Overview
Inheritance Tax Planning
More people in Northern Ireland are finding themselves liable to pay Inheritance Tax due to increases in the value of property in recent times. We can advise you on ways to avoid or mitigate the Inheritance Tax that would be payable on your Estate.
Wills and Trusts
We can provide guidance on making your Will. Once you have made a Will, you should ensure that you review it on occasion to take into account any changes in your circumstances or changes in the law which may affect the provisions of your Will.
Once we have made your Will we can hold it for you in safe keeping free of charge in our Strongroom.
When making a will we would advise Clients to execute an Enduring Power of Attorney. This document enables someone you have chosen to step in and take over your affairs should you ever become incapable of doing so. If however an Enduring Power of Attorney has not been made and a Client becomes incapable of handling their affairs, we can deal with the application for the appointment of a Controller.

Administration of Estates
We can act on your behalf if you are the Executor or Personal Representative of an Estate dealing with all matters involved in the winding up of the Estate.
Contentious Probate
We can advise you of your rights and take the appropriate steps to make your claim if you feel you have been unfairly treated in a Will.
We specialise in legal care and assistance for the Elderly especially where dealing with vulnerable clients. Those clients who require consultations to take place in their own home or in residential care can be happily accommodated.
