Simon Chambers – Solicitor Advocate & Notary Public
Simon studied Law at Cardiff University, qualifying in 1997 and completed his legal studies at Bristol University, before returning to Northern Ireland in 2000, and spending six years with a city centre firm specialising in defence civil litigation. Simon joined the Firm in 2006 and specialises in high value personal injury litigation, conveyancing, licensing applications, commercial work, matrimonial law and criminal law.
Simon has recently achieved great success in bringing group actions on behalf of over ninety clients against a London based solicitor who negligently advised clients to purchase overseas property in Calabria, Italy, which was recently the subject of two BBC television programmes and international media attention. Simon has taken on a number of actions on behalf of other large groups of clients who have purchased property worldwide which has never been built.
Simon is a qualified Solicitor Avocate and a Notary Public. In his spare time, Simon enjoys playing tennis at Bangor Lawn Tennis Club where he has been captain for the last seven years, walking his dogs and cooking.
